“I have hired Jenn on two jobs so far. The first job was a proposal for a Faculty Fulbright, which are only five pages, but they need to communicate many things to laypersons in a non-technical flowing narrative, including what your proposed project is, who you are going to work with, why you are interested in working in that country, how you would be a good cultural ambassador and how you would deal with the unexpected in another country, etc. Jenn edited the proposal in a timely manner, helping to get the proposal down to five pages and make the rhetoric flow.

The second job was a project for a 15-page National Science Foundation (NSF) proposal. These project descriptions are complex, with many required sections; they must be readable by someone outside of the discipline, but also provide enough detail that someone inside the discipline thinks you have "street cred." Jenn helped with eliminating redundancies, improving rhetoric, and cutting it down to 15 pages and added many comments. She definitely goes the extra mile.”
